I just received my order of anise pizzelles and I had to try one right away....Delicious! They're everything you say they are. They remind me of the ones my mother-in-law used to make back in New Jersey. I'm now in Texas and pizzelles are hard to come by if not impossible. We're going to enjoy these throughout the holidays! OH MY GOD!!! These are to die for! The orange is a unique flavor and it is fantastic. I have to admit...I'm quite surprised. I figured, how good can you make a pizzelle. I have had thousands of them I my lifetime and I have always professed my mother's to be the best. Actually, the original recipe was from my Dad's mom which my mom adjusted. Mom's are a little thinner, also crispy and mostly vanilla & anise flavored. I would love to say that I received BellaPizzelles as a gift or even that I ordered them as a thank you gift for a friend, coworker, or loved one. But the simple fact is ... I ordered them for myself! It only took me three days to make it through an entire short stack. And let me tell you, short stacks are not that short! I had powered sugar all over myself--it was great! Pizzelles are good but BellaPizzelles are GREAT.

"I got my order and gave my husband his birthday gift a few days early...His Grandmother had passed away and the only thing I really remember about that day when the whole family was together to wish her good bye was the talk of the pizzelles...So I thought it would be nice to give some to my husband...an excuse to sit back and remember old times. And it worked...we spent a few hours talking about Gramma and the cookies and the family get togethers while we ate these wonderful cookies he hated to admit were as good as Grammas. ( because you know nothing is supposed to be as good as your own grandmothers) I, myself, had never had a pizzelle. Oh the things I was missing out on. This (your cookies) has to be the single most delightful food I have ever had. I ate more then what would have been called my fair share of my husbands birthday gift...good thing I got two. He thinks I gave him the cookies of his youth as a gift. I think I gave him back his gramma for a few hours. I guess it really doesn't matter much who is right.
