OH MY GOD!!! These are to die for! The orange is a unique flavor and it is fantastic. I have to admit...I'm quite surprised. I figured, how good can you make a pizzelle. I have had thousands of them I my lifetime and I have always professed my mother's to be the best. Actually, the original recipe was from my Dad's mom which my mom adjusted. Mom's are a little thinner, also crispy and mostly vanilla & anise flavored.
You get an A+++++++ the texture, weight, flavor, freshness, presentation, packaging, accompanying history....everything, absolutely perfect!
